Where do you guys put your line lock button? Got mine from LGM today (Thanks Matt, Lou good deal and fast shipping ). I want it to be out of the way and do not want to cut anything. Help? Pics would be even better.

I took out the lighter, cut a small piece of plastic to cover the hole and mounted it there. Easy to reach and fold the cover down and it is out of sight. Some people mount it neaer the TC switch or it can be a removable switch and just plug it in at the track. Do a search there are some pics.

I still have mine and never installed it yet.
Two possible locations that I liked were on the emergency brake handle and on the steering wheel. Not sure how exactly the steering wheel would work, guess that would best be a track day only kind of thing.

Basically with some help from others I finally figured out how to hold her in the burnout box enough to smoke the tires pretty good. If traction even becomes a problem again, I may look that way again.

Good Luck!

BTW: That's a nice e/t for 375rwhp, we need to race!

Thanks for the response. I had a total FUBAR brun out my last run Sunday... no water in the box, went to spin them once and hooked Tried to warm them up and it spun a bit then hooked again I tried to back off the launch from 3500 to 3000 and it was too much still and I spun bad, put down a 1.98 60' :o Still got a 12.3 @ 118.2 butit was not pretty. Anyway, I have tried to power break and I just can't get it. My size 12 just can't do it. I hope this helps, plus I have some MT ET St's waiting to go on 02 Z06 OEM rims for the track. I am thinking in the ash tray, but the parking brake sounds good too. I gota check that out.

We have a nice little track down here in NC. Ever come down this way, shoot me an PM and we can have some run. We had a team of 3 or 4 or 5 Vettes that ran most weekends too, but most of them are deployed now Take care and the 1st round is on me afterwards too

Hurst offers a switch with a rubber band. A little lube on the lever and slide it on.

Saw one guy that had it in the top of his gear lever. Flipped open the top that shows the gear selection... think it might have been over at Z06vette.com

Wow nice! I read about FRCTom in Vette mag, at the NCM bash, swapping out his torq tube. Great idea. I think it is going to go on the tilt steering lever. Thanks again!

Damn, I thought that was the ejection button for the passenger seat!

That is a sweet setup. I had been set on not installing mine, but I'd pay to have that install done. Very nice work!
