Hello Adam,

Love my G5X-3, LSA 114

My 2001 C5 Coupe, A4 (3.42) has 395.2rwhp/373.8rwtq with OEM Heads! No flycutting of the pistons is required with the G5X-3, LSA 114. This Cam is very streetable, too!

We did an 02 with 3.73's and a SS3600 with Kooks and no cats and it went 11.5 @ 118 in the summer.

I plan on going to San Antonio Raceway either in March or April. I'll be sure to post my timeslip. I hope to break into the 11's.

BTW, I gained 45rwhp (includes tuning) with the G5X-3, 114 LSA.

... especially considering my 2001 C5, A4 (3.42) still has Stock Heads.

Once those Supercar C6 Z06's hit the streets with 500bhp I'll have to pull the trigger on a set of AFR 205 Heads.

I just put one in, you only have to flycut if you milled the heads

Cary, thanks for posting your Rwhp with cam only and stock heads. I sent Lou an e-mail asking about this...you have an A4 and got 395RWHP with that cam...I am seriously considering the same cam for my 01 Coupe, but it's an MN6 so I hoping I can get maybe 410RWHP or so....but I might just say screw it and get the AFR Heads as well..I am also planning on LGM LT's with no cats with the cam.

We'll see

That's an impressive time for the summer. I wonder how this cam would do with my setup? AS stage II heads, YPT4400 verter, 3.90's, E.T. streets, all bolt ons, etc..

well guys I was very dissapointed..... not in the cam but my numbers. I forgot to take a pic of the graph but with the mods I got the tuner pulled 356rwhp and 330 rwtq on a mustang dyno. even though they are on a mustang dyno they stikk seem low to me. the tuner told me i was "overcammed" for my stock 346c, and that I was better off with somethin way smaller. I still dont understand cause there are plentty of guys runnin this cam with 400rwhp. on the mustang dyno I expected around 370rwhpand around 350rwtq. I do need new headers cause like I said before the guy who owned this vette before wanted to keep the stock h pipe so he had a muffler shop cut off the colectors of the tpis long tubes and also cut off some of the h pipe just to make it fit. here is a pic I tried to take of it

on top of that it is leaking like a **** from there. hopefully some lg long tubes can make up for some of that lost power.
as far as my tuner telling me I was overcammed and trying to tell me a 224 would have been better. I just got frustrated with him. dont thin I will be goin there anymore.

What are all your performance mods? What was your RWHP/RWTQ [baseline] before the cam was installed? Who was your tuner? Yes, IMHO the Pro LG LT Header system would be a noticeable improvement. Sounds like your present exhaust system is whacked!

I would think the LG Longtubes would get you well beyond the numbers you originally anticipated with the G5X3 cam.
