IMO only mod what you can afford to pay for outright.

what to do?
so,in about 2 weeks,i'm going to borrow some money from my bank for some mods.thought about getting a c6 instead,but i'd be locked in to a 1100 a month car pamn't!and i do like to eat every now and then!so,i;m thinking around 3 grand. i want a high rise hood.so,other than the cosmetic,what to do?headers?cam?thanks for any input.what i want is low end grunt and faaaaasssst 1/4 miles!

Getting a loan for mods sounds like a very bad idea. Modding is addictive. It'd be like getting a loan to buy crack. You'll keep doing either one, and those loans will never get paid off.

yea,i hear you!i started small on my 95 when i had it,and ended up w/a totally rebuilt,forged piston,vortech supercharged,12 second machine!the way i figure it,this will be cheaper than buying a c6!!!

Enough of this only mod with current cash BS. He didn't come on the forum to be lectured about how to spend his money..
Okay.. $3K budget.. The hood is likely to be nearly half that by the time you get it painted. The rest will easily be eaten up by long tube headers.

Sorry but im with the other guys.Everything i do to my car mod wise is done with money i make on the side or when we have a surplus of income in a givin month.Although a magna charger would only be 150 a month........Oh wait nevermind im dreaming.Good luck and dont go overboard.
