Heads question
Hi,
I have found a decent price on a set of heads. I was wondering, will doing heads decrease MPG while I am cruising? I dont think it should, as it is making the motor more efficient, but I wanted to get some opinions on this. Thanks.
BTW, the car has a vortech supercharger, cam, headers, and exhaust. Thanks again.

It depends on your tune and driving style. In addition to my Corvette, I also have an '89 Honda CRX Si. I actually get better gas mileage in my Corvette just because it builds power without much effort, but when I drive the CRX, my foot is always flat on the floor with the rpm's over 4,000 rpm's.
