Default Help DTC code C1281 thrown

Can anyone help with code C1281? I've got the diagrams and the troubleshooting worksheet for this code from GM, but there could be 5 to 9 different things causing this code and hours of testing... Anyone have this code and fix it??

Car = 99 Coupe A4

This code is related to the EBTCM. It is known to have ground issues. There is a ground lug on the EBTCM motor that can get corroded and cause weird issues.
Read the resistance of the EBTCM to Chassis ground. It should be ZERO +- .02 OHMS

Take the reading and let me know what you get.
