Default Carbon buildup question

I want to de-carbonize my engine. My question is will this hurt my catalytic converters? I have new high flow cats, and don't want to wreck them.

If you use Fuel Power it will not as it is done slowly through the fuel. Not sure about the GM Top Cleaner, but I have used it in the past and also passed emissions with my 90 so you might be OK.

The GM top engine cleaner is made to clean carbon deposits without harming ccs. The use of Chevron gasoline will greatly reduce or result in very little, if any, carbon build up. Lab tests have shown that the Techron additive will remove deposits within 5 tankfuls of gasoline...it will even remove buildup left behind by other gasoline brands. However, if you have heavy build up, you will need to use either top engine cleaner or go to place that has the machine that uses crushed walnuts to clean your system (a BMW dealer should have this since "the walnut" method was invented by BMW).
