im putting on the new ghl headers and i have a problem.
the cats dont seem to get tucked up into the cavity enough, even with a lot of lifting on the x pipe i cant get the bolts to go in the rear mount.
im about 2" too low. do i need to loosen the header bolts on the motor? i wouldnt think theres enough slop there to make that kind if difference.
anyone experienced this?
thanks,
don
I was able to rotate the portion with the Cats upwards in the tunnel , enough so they only hang about 1/2 inch below the tunnel. Then I installed the x-pipe on it's rear hangers. Note,, place your front O2 sensors before you tighten your header bolts, otherwise they are difficult to place after the headers are bolted in.
