Default Crazy fix for ABS/TC problem

On my 97 the TC/ABS kept shutting off. I cleaned every connection and made sure all the connections were good. It still cut off every once in a while. I traced all the codes back to the BCM. Not wanting to purchase a new BCM with out knowing exactly that was the cause was, I left it alone and lived with the problem.

Here is the crazy part. I'm driving along one day and my passenger seat starts moving around and the wings are going nuts, so I pull over find the power connection and unplug it. The next day I plug it back in and everything works well. Set the seat back where it needs to be and leave alone. The next day, my TC and ABS kick off again and my seat is going nuts too. No codes for the seat but the same old codes for the TC/ABS.

I get the seat back into a good position and unplug the passenger seat to stop it from going nuts again. My ABS/TC has never kicked off again, that was 2 months ago.

The only thing I can think of is the seat would short out some where and cause the BCM to shut down for a second, making all the other codes to happen.

If you have a vette doing the same thing, check the passenger seat. It sounds nuts, but it worked.
