maintenance help...
time for new battery?, if so, which brand? (6 years old but works fine. Dealer suggested replacing simply due to age of battery)

we recommend replacing the original batteries because they like to leak acid all over stuff you don't want acid on. Optima (red or yellow) top are heavily endorsed around here.
For tires, Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone and I think one or two others make runflats - beyond listing their names I refuse to speculate on which is better - that's a religious argument.
