There is no way to remove the grill without removing the door panel (well, not without mangling it). You might be able to reach in behind the grill without pulling the door panel off completely, just pulling the bottom out far enough that you can wedge your hand behind the grill.

Here are great directions to taking off the door panel. If it is your first time, you will break at least one of the pins, so you are better off buying some ahead of time at a Chevy dealership, or at Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.

You can find some cheap door panel removal tools here. These will help keep you from breaking pins or grommets.

And the grills are available as a seperate item if you can't get the dents out. HTH

Thanks, WildBill
All the door panel retainer pins are the same length and as I recall they are approx 1 1/4" long (males). The female side snaps into the holes in the door itself and almost never have a problem. It's the males, mounted into the door panel that are the easiest to break. HTH

There is also another method that I discovered and tried myself with success. Locate some fine gauge music wire. Bend a small loop at the end and feed through the grill. With some finagling, you should be able to wrap the wire around the mesh and pull the wire through. With both ends of the wire sticking out along with a pair of vice grips, clamp down on the wires and pull the dent out. You may need to do this several times.

Good luck.
