Default Anyone Tried TOP DOWN Window Valet.....

Has anyone tried the top down window valet from Elite Engineering? It looks great and easy to do, but not sure what problems it can cause. Thank you, habib

Many functions that really accentuate our C5
Vert or not, it is a must have.....if for nothing else than the impressive factor of controling your windows remotely.

Many forum members have them, and I have never seen 1 negative comment about them...

I have it and never look back, especially for a vert. 3 klicks on the remote and the windows go up - or down. Besides some other nice features there is no other impact to the car. This was one of the best mods and the easiest to install.

Just installed mine! took about 10 min to set it up. Very cool! Programming was a bit tough for the computer challenged guy like me but I was able to figure it out!

Very nice addition to an already cool car!!

I love mine. I don't have a vert but it's very nice to be able to roll down my windows when someone parks too close. Makes it a lot easier to get in my Vette. I'm about 6'4" so it's a little tight to start with.

It works as promised and.........the retained power option is great and the fact it automaticly records your highest speed till you reset it. Plus it can make your speedo read a speed when the car is off to maybe fool a cop into claiming the speedo is broken. Cool mod!

Its great to be able to open the windows with your remote and have the stereo automatically turn on. Then, you can take the top down without having to get in the car...and listen to tunes while you do it!

Added benefit...you can startle any one that happens to be standing by car. You should see the surprised looks on people when the windows go down and the stereo starts up.

Actually the window valet is from Top Down Technologies unless they've changed their name http://www.topdowntech.com/home.html

I love mine. It makes it so easy when you put the top back up. Just reach in each side, flip the levers, and hit the button 3 times. No need to get back into the car, stick the key in, roll up the windows. It's also cool to have the windows on their way down when walking out to the car with someone.
