Default New Air Intake - Computer Re-set?

Just installed a Halltech Stinger Air Intake (over the stock) and I wanted to find out if anyone knew how many miles it took before the computer re-set itself for the added air flow?

Just unhook the battery for 15 minutes and hook it back up. When i installed my LS6 intake.. It said to let the car run for 30 minutes so it can learn the increased airflow.

Long Term Airflow adjustments ( not fuel LTFTs) take 30 - 45 minutes to fully adjust. They move slowly.
FWIW.

All you see for $239.00 represents the best bang for the buck. You'd have to spend quite a bit more to gain a tiny amount of HP. I like my Stinger-R!

After looking at what the market has to offer on a aftermarket air intake I decided on the Halltech Stinger because of price and fairly ease of installation. You get the filter along with the "larger airbridge" and the smooth coupler. Like someone said, "Lot's of bang for the buck". The whole system is also very light weight. No metal parts. All plastic components.

I opted for the "red" airbridge for my LS1 coupe as I thought the red color would be a good contrast from the rest of the black engine parts.
And after install, it does look good as opposed to the black airbridge. But, everyone has their own different personal taste for looks.

After your install is complete, however, don't be alarmed that your hood doesn't close as easy as before. This bridge is a bit higher than stock and you need to close the hood with a firmer slam.

I've driven the car about 50 miles so far after installation and it seems to be even more responsive than before. Of course, I also have an aftermarket exhaust (Magnaflow) that is a straight through system and also helps with a boost in horses.
