Default Patriot Performance Recall

Patriot Performance is announcing a recall on all LS6 style heads that were shipped between 1-20-2005 and 3-15-2005. This recall is due to issues that may be found in spark plug hole depth (.160" too deep), and timeserts used in the rocker bolt threads. Any person who has heads that fall into this category, please contact us via phone, email, or PM to discuss the return and replacement of these heads. We ask that customers affected by this recall contact us within the next 30 days. Thank you and we regret any inconvenience this may cause.

hey gunnar! I'm eric in sebring--can't recall exactly when I got my heads from you but I'm thinking it was prior to that time.

what problems might the spark plug depth cause? any symptoms I should be looking for?

The complete sentence was:
"Your heads should be fine. Give us a call and we will go over them with you".

Allow me to translate this for you:
"We think they are OK, but if you would please call us we will gladly make sure for you"

Default patriot reliability?

Just posted a note this morning about patriot reliability and should I purchase these and after seeing these notes have decided to purchase heads from lpe. No sense in recalling something after they are installed. Is patriot going to reimburse someone for this
