My '99 M6 is surrently in the performance shop getting a cam install. I had planned on having the stock throttle body ported while it was there. Tech feels it many cause a 'driveability' issue with the medium to lagre cam. any thoughts on this? does porting even work....?
You might gain between 5-8 RWHP with a ported stock TB. If you are going to install a ported TB now is the time to do it. So your car can be dyno tuned with your new cam and the ported TB.

I ported 2 stock TB's with good results. You gotta be careful because the walls are thin. I have cam and heads and there are no drivability issues at all. it worked well when my car was stock and just as good now. If you grind through the wall, just epoxy it up.
