Default Magnecore 8.5MM Question

I just ordered some magnecore wires from LPE. The guy there told me to get the ones with a 45 degree angle on the boot since I am installing headers. The LPE PN 85259.

I was wondering if anyone is running these?

Thanks,

I used to have them. Did a scan with my EASE and found I had misfire codes.Tuner said to get rid of them. I did, put the stock wires back on and no more misfire codes. Maybe it was just a bad wire in the set. The car runs fine now with the stock wires...H/C header set up.

If I had a choice I would keep the stock ones. I won't say why I don't have a choice.

Thanks,

You ordered them and you don't have a choice..??
By the way, I put header "socks" on my stock wires. I'm running Kooks headers.

I put them on last week along with NGK TR55-IX's and haven't had any problems. It seems to be running as smooth or smoother than it did with the stock setup.

I pull one apart getting it off the plug. My hand slipped and I yank the wire.

I did pick up some ac delco iridium plugs today to go with my new wires.

From what I understand, If our stock wire are not cracked or broken, replacing them with Aftermarket wire will not do anything. They are to short, from what I have read here.
