What are you trying to accomplish? Why do you want a converter?

I have no regrets with my Vigilante 2800 TC. Here is a useful link, however according to there chart & my mods, they say I should have a higher stall TC. Yet, like I said I'm very content with my Vig2800, which I've read actually flashes to 3200.

If the converters mentioned actually stall at 2600 & 2800 RPM there won't be much of a difference in performance all else being equal.

If you are talking about the Yank Stealth converters I would avoid both of them. Because they are really just modified inefficent 12 inch stock T/Cs. If I were you I would go with the Yank SS3200 or the Vig 2800 (actually stalls at 3200). If you think you will be doing a cam or H/C at some point, or if you're going to the track several times a year I would select the Yank SS3600.

I'm running a 3.42 and a 2800 Vigilante. I'm happy with the combo.

I am pretty share I am going with 3.42 gears and want the "right" TC as I'll have both installed at the same time. I won't be going to the track, just daily driving. Want to max take off.

It seems like a Vig 2800 or 3200, huh????

The Vig 2800 stalls at about 3200. The Vig 3200 stalls about 3600 RPM.
Since you don't plan on going to the track you are probabily better off with the Vig 2800

If you are going to keep your 3.15 gears go with the Yank SS3200. Yank made that T/C with 3.15 gears in mind. If you go with a T/C with less than 3000 stall you will reget it, and wish you went with a converter with more stall.

Just went and got the SS3600 Yank for the 3.42 gears I got. Yank said it was a better combo to go with for the parts on my car and what I still have planned.
