98 vette wipers only high speed
just bought 98 vette has only high speed no low, delay.or washers,,acted like maybe bad ground to motor (iam a ford tech 30yrs)
so get all you barbs in now..any how if it was a ford i tryed running jumper wire to motor case didnt work so be for i pull this gm night mare apart any help would be appre. o yea i ve had vetts since 89 ford just pays for them thanks jim

Its paying you back for being a FORD guy for all of those years!!!Here is what you need to do:
Here is what could be causing your problem: The wiper motor sits in a well in the windshield cowl area! That well has THREE drains. The drains frequently get clogged up with crap! On the bottom of the motor sits a control module,,you guessed it, it is now submerged in a lot of dirty nasty water!
You need to clean those drains as a start. Most of the tome the motor will dry itself out after a while. I had to remove mine and flush out all of the relays, circuit boards and switches with brake parts cleaner and WD-40.
Here are come pictures that may help you see how to clean the drains. They are like cow utters. Molk the dirt out of them!
Flashlight beam is highlighting the utters!
Here is what I got out of my 02 Z06 and I keep them clean!
Here is a shot of what the well and utters look like!

GREAT!!! WILL CHECK tomorrow that sounds right to me i looked at the way the motor was mounted and said "self" this looks like another gm goof..so will do as you say thanks..now to be able to put this thing into the air without crushing anything tomorrow oh that was another thread...jim
