Default Electrical problem, please help

On my friends 2000 Corvette, if he hits a bump in the road, the gauges stop functioning. The check gauges light comes on, and you have to go into manual diagnostics to reset them and get them to work again. When this happens, it shows "10 PCM 1 Code" Then after the reset, the code goes away and the gauges function normally again. I just thought someone could have had this problem and maybe could let us know where to begin looking. Thanks!

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Maybe a ground that is not as tight as it should be?

10 PCM 1 code?????????? Your missing some more info!!! If you go into manual diagnostics and press the "FUEL or GAUGES" buttons , the code will be shown! It will be something like: " DTC P1125"

If there is more than one code, use the "FUEL" or "Gauge" buttons to display the codes!

Sounds like you have a BAD Ground or a loose electrical Connector!

Read the codes/Code and post it here!

Check your body control module to make sure it is seated properly. I had the same problem recently and that was the problem. I hope this helps.
