I have a 2002 corvette coupe and i am going to purchase a new exhaust system and probably headers too. Is Corsa a good option to go with? Also would you guys recommend an x-pipe or not? Thanks for the replys
I hav the Borla on my 98 Coupe and love the sound. Was able to listen to the Corsa and Borla last year at Carlisle and I decided on the Borla. I think it has a deeper sound. Hope this helps.

what ever system you go with whether its corsa btw i am running borla 2 tip stingers or if u go with borla i would reccomend getting a nice set of lgt headers & an x pipe dont waste your money on short tube headers & its possible you can find a set of lgt headers on the c5 parts for sale gl with the choice you make they also make the x pipe for a catalytic converters i would go with random technology high flow cats if i had to put cats on it here in alabama we dont have an inspection so we can run no cats & a big cam without the state having a say so in it some states require you to pass a sniffer so pending on what state your in .If you dont have to pass a sniffer they make 02 simulators that trick the computer into thinking you have cats btw i have the borla with tpis lgt headers & no cats with a rdm tech x pipe & 02 sims with no codes its been on the car for 2 yrs trouble free gl with your choice hop this info helps
LGM LTs and Borla Stinger Quads here. I love the sound. As far as the Corsas, well, I didn't get them because they have the high pitch wine like an Indy car, thus the name I assume.
The best thing you can do is go to some type of Corvette run and listen to them yourself and then decide. There are tons of wav files on the internet to get a starting point but those really are no comparison to the real thing.
LG Pro LTs, Random Tech cats and X pipe with Corsa Indies. I have a fairly big cam and the exhaust sound at idle is a nice crisp rumble, insane at WOT and the best part, really quiet at cruise speeds with no cabin resonance (at least with an MN6). For me they are perfect. Both the Borlas and Corsas are quality products, you won't go wrong with either one. Best bet is to try to get out to a cruise night or club meet and listen to a few.
The Indy name comes from the fact that Corsa originally designed the system for the 1998 Corvette Indianapolis 500 pace car. They also make a Touring version that is a lot quieter.
they have sound bits of the corsa.. I have the corsa and like the higher pitch it does sound a little F1 ish but bad.. My freind has the borla and it is a lower pitch but sounds awesome too.. witch ever you get you will be happy
Corsa Indys and love them, also their service and warranty is top notch.
I developed a rattle in my passenger side can, on the advice of this forum I contacted Corsa. The service rep from Corsa sent me two brand new cans ( he said tips slighty changed from when I bought mine and he wanted them to match) and a prepaid shipping label to send old cans back to him so they could examine what went wrong with the one. I got my new exhaust in 4 business days.
Great product, great lifetime warranty, great customer service.
I have the Corsa Pace Car and Dynatech LT w/ hi-flow cats. I love the sound. It was described last weekend by another C5 owner on a cruise as sharp and biting. I have to agree. The LT's really woke the exhaust up. The thing I like most is that even though very loud there is absolutley no drone. I've been in vettes with other exhaust and you can't carry on a conversation because of the drone. My $.02.
I have Corsa Indys (Pace Car) with Kooks LT's w/hi-flow cats. I am very pleased with the sound. At WOT it is down right scary. As Cajundude said they have more of a F1 sound vs the Borla's which are somewhat deeper.
You can't go wrong with either, both are high quality systems.

I have the exact same set-up and it sounds awesome at WOT, and really quiet when you want to cruise in 6th gear on a long trip.
Coesa touring edition and x pipe here. I was in Cleveland last Tuesday and called Corsa and went over for a tour. Very nice setup and top notch service.
Wont go wrong either way. I have Corsa indy's w/ xpipe, Real nice at idle, cruise and while in residential neigborhoods, but when you get on it, you know it. I will be adding LT's down the line. I listened to both as Borla also very popular but felt too much drone coming from Borla.
Think about what the future holds. I got the Corsa Indys with xpipe and this year went to Kooks headers. Now I have the Corsa xpipe sitting in garage as the Kooks system came with a xpipe. Before the headers the sound was a a little high pitch. However with the long tube headers the sound has deepened considerably but not louder at idle and at cruising where it is very quiet. I lucked out: wife like the Corsa sound - then when headers added she likes it better!!!
Get a listen to the GHL's as well - very smooth sound but I do not know what they sound like when cruising - they have a "muscle car" rumble.
I have FLP long tubes and high flow cats, X pipe and Corsa Indy's. I love how they sound, a little loud at WOT (96db) but very mild crsuing on the highway.
Here's what it sounds like in the car. http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=In-Fastguy
