Can a Programmer Control Fan on/off??
Title says it all. Can one of the handheld programmers (hypertech, preditor, etc) set the cooling fans on/off temps? If so I hate to buy one just for this. Is there anyone in GA that would be interested in doing this for me?? I have a 97 Mn6.

HPTuners.com, this site has all the info. It's a freindly version of LS1-Edit. It's 499.00 for 2 vehicle types, if you choose 2000 Vette and 2004 Vette, you can tune ALL 2000 and 2004 Vettes. Much better than being locked to the VIN of you vehicle. As always, YMMV. Jeff

If you only want to control the fans, get a Vinci switch. Fairly easy install, you can adjust the on temp and it works really well. Mine comes on at 208 and off at 201. Both fans on low and the car cools very quickly when they come on. Avoids messing with programmers and the PCM.
