The PO of my 02 coupe must have bent the valve core of my RR stock Goodyear runflat. It's not sealing completely and leaking slowly. Just called local dealer and the parts guy says he doesn't show it. Neither does local Goodyear store. Any idea where to get one... and a remover tool? By eyeball, the core looks bigger than a standard Schrader valve core. Thanks!

As far as I know they are the standard size.. Just go down to a Discount Tire (if you have one around) and they will give you a couple for free..
You can find the removal tool fow a couple of bucks at any parts place (they might have the stems there as well.)

Have you tried tightening the core a bit yet? If that doesn't do it, let the air out, remove the core and check for debris or a damaged seal. The core is a standard size and Tru-Flate and Milton offer them seperately. If worse comes to worse, buy a regular valve stem and use the core from it. HTH
Thanks for the info. I checked the local parts store and the remover they had did not look like it would go over the core's "plunger" even if the plunger were straight. And the cores they had looked too small. I'll just keep looking (and topping up the air).

The cores are standard but if you have tire pressure sensors they are nickel plated for corrosion and because they are used as the antenna for the sensor. I got the Shrader factory rep to send me a few for free! The normal ones you buy at tire stores etc won't be nickel plated. If you would like I could send you one just email me your address etc. warpster@earthlink.net

If you have a standard GM Tire Pressure Sensor, the stem is an intergal part of the sensor and can not be replaced. The inner valve can be but the entire valve stem can not be removed unless you cut it off. Here is a picture of a sensor with the stem attached.
Thanks for the pics, Bill. Actually, it's the core's "plunger", shaft, pneumatic ingress & egress control device, or whatever it's called inside the stem that's bent almost 90 degrees causing the valve to not seat correctly. The stem itself is fine. Now my bigest problem will be removing the core as a remover can't slip over the bent shaft. Miniture needlenose pliers might do it!
