Default Lean fuel bank error codes, PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys, I posted this a few days ago with no success so I'm going to give it another shot. The car has a very rough idol, and im getting a ''Fuel bank 1 & 2 lean'' error code. I've ran a bottle of techron along with chevron gas to try and clean up the fuel system with no success. Any idea what the problem might be? PS: the car has 54k miles on her.

I'm only guessing, but it sounds like you have an air leak between the MAF and the throttle body. I'd check the intake system first to be sure everything is tight. Could there be a hole in the accordion coupler between the airbridge and the throttlebody? Electrical connections to the MAF and temp sensor in the airbridge OK? I guess it could be a bad MAF or oxygen sensor, but I don't know how to test them. Could you have contaminated fuel or water in your gas? That's about all I can think of, hope it helps.

Jim, there is a tiny hole by the hose clamp on the accordian duct but it's never given me any problems in the past 6 months. I do have a twin flow intake btw. Thanks for the advice!

I would check the MAF too and make sure everything is sealed tight. The other thing is if you have mods. I found my Granatelli MAF threw codes ALL the time. As soon as I put the stock Z06 MAF on, the problem was resolved.
Good Luck!

This can definitely be a source of problems. The O2 sensors monitor the amount of oxygen in the exhaust stream. So, unmetered air (i.e. air entering the intake after the MAF), an exhaust leak, or some type of incomplete combustion (bad plug, wire, coil) can all lead to reporting lean conditions. Since it both banks reporting lean, I would guess that it is related to intake tract.
