Default Hotchkis sway bar problem

About 18 months ago I bought and had installed by a local shop a set of Hotchkis sway bars and endlinks. Recently I had my car on a rack and noticed the sway bar had slid over a couple of inches (rear) and the endlinks were both leaning in the same direction. I centered the bar and did some hard corners, when I got back I put it on the rack and the bars/endlinks had move back to the same offset condition.
I checked the installation directions that came with the bars and they said I was supposed to have two 1/4" urethane spacer rings and four aluminum 1/2 donuts and four allen head screw caps. Then install the donuts (splitcollars) 1/8" outside the bushings.
I also noted in the WCC catalog it shows these "donuts" mounted on one of the bar in the picture and it says "CNC machined aluminum locking rings".
Sorry this is so long but here is my concern, I called Hotchis so I could try to buy these parts as I thought the installer left them off. he told me he hasn't used these parts for years and that I didn't need them. I like to corner hard, is this going to affect handling or worse yet could I snap an endlink in a high speed corner?

You are in luck my friend.. I have the same issue (bought a used set of bars and the locking collars were missing).

They are 5 bucks a piece (you'll need 2 of them).

Part number 6436K73 (1" I.D. / aluminum collar). Got this tip from the guy at Hotchkis (they no longer have these in stock). You'll also need a rubber "o-ring" to keep the collar from rubbing on the mounting bracket.

Well...

This is very curious. I had mine installed last year. And I too have driven VERY hard at the track. I now have creeking noises and my front end became unlevel. We undid the front sway during H/C and reinstalled and car was level again!

I have the new (supposedly..I called Hotchkiss) endlink with the greasable fittings.
