Default Brakes..NEED Help!

OK....I installed 4 sportbrakes rotors all the way around. It was a fairly simple install. I thought all was well, test drive was perfect, car stopped perfectly without any squeeks. Two weeks later, I was driving with the radio off, the road was extremely turbulent, I could hear somthing rattleing in what sounds like the front left wheel area. Next day I took the front rims off and made sure everything was still tight. I had used locktight and tightened every bolt. I read in a previous post that it was recommended to buy new caliper bracket bolts when replaceing the rotors, which I have purchased and plan on installing this weekend. I seriously doubt thats what it is, any ideas? With the wheel off, should there be any play on the caliper....I can hold the caliper and move it back and forth even though the bolts are extremly tight. Anyways, any help would be really appreciated. If I can't fix it, then I will have to take it into the shop......

Thanks in advance.

I'm no mechanic, but I think our calipers are called floating. They slide back and forth on two pins. If that is your motion (I would think it should slide a minimal amount), then the movement of the caliper is probably right. If it's more than a small amount, may have an issue.

As far as the rattle, no clue.

I was going to post that I needed help with bleeding brakes but I think I may know what your problem is, in the under side of the caliper there is a peice (spring clip) which pushes against the pads. Did you put that back in? Second, you can bend (bow) it outward to apply more pressure. That's all that I can think of.
