If it is squirrely at 115 there is something wrong with the wheel alignment. I've had both my C5s to 150 and they have been rock solid.

Damn, how could I have missed this shot - and from a NOOB no less.

Let me explain something to you missy: this forum is a place to share information, trade opinions and have some fun!!!!

I really don't want to bash you on your first experiences on the forum, but someone needs to help you on with your flame suit. I'm just "funnin" you. Don't take it so damn seriously. No wonder your boyfriend lives in IL.

As far as just getting a little loose at 115, that's just foolish. No other comment needed!!!

As far as my being one of those truck drivers rolling down the road hoping to get a glimpse, not likely looking for a 38 yr. old. Besides, I bet you are one of those libs that don't shave her pits!

PS - welcome to the forum anyway! Lighten up and have some fun!

Vett_girl, welcome to the forum. I was just playing with ya and trying to get you trained. You have to have very tough skin around here. I know you're going to be pizzed at me for awhile and I don't blame you. Just don't take it out on boyfriend.

Get a man to drive your car and check it out. Sorry, I just can't help myself.

Actually, I think it was last night. You still got that white stuff around your car? Bet it's washed away.

I just came back from a long drive to Florida. Cruise control set at 90 I could fall asleep. 2 or 3 mile runs at 130 still like a rock. (although the windows get sucked out at 100)

Top speed (not necessarily on this run) 182.....

I love girls that love Vettes. LEAVE HER ALONE.

184, Wouldnt do that again untill all my active handling crap is fixed. The car does feel slightly swirly up to 150mph after 150 it sticks to the ground and really holds the road, after 150 it just feels streamline. dunno what it is.

Sorry to hear of the speeding ticket you just got - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...994&forum_id=1

I will not say a word (like I told you so), I'll just say:
