I am sure this has been debated to death but I want to know some real world numbers and not what the suppliers are saying.

I think they are all the Long Tube headers are close to the same with in a couple of RWHP.

The best advice I can give you is have them Jet Coated if your going to keep the car for more than 10 years. I think they may rust some w/o coatings. My kooks are browning a little after a year, but no rust.

Whichever brand is being run on the respondant's car.

But in actuality...... it is probably the brand being run on this car.

Most power for what application? Stock cube? Big cube? Blower car? LG headers are not necessarily ideal for every combo.

Kooks does not recommend coating their C5 headers. FWIW.

LGM?................Why?................

because they cost more than any other header system out there?.......

IF you look at Dynotech headers, they are almost IDENTICAL to LGM other that a 3 inch mid section, and yet LGM CLAIMS MAJOR, yeah MAJOR RWHP gains because of that......

I dont think so

Plus you are out of 500+ $$$ if you buy LGM over Dynotech

The LG are better for normally aspirated motors. The merge collectors will produce a broader power curve over the other systems that dont use a merge collector. That is why they cost more to. Merge collectors are not cheap. If you are using a blower, then the other headers out there will work just as good...

Dynatechs! I got over 85rwhp with the Dynatech Supermaxx Headers. Then I took it to LPE and got a couple more. Oh yeah, the 85plus-rwhp was without a tune!

Wow, this is hard to believe. Not saying you are lying or anything, it just is very hard to believe that a set of LT headers will yield 85 rwhp, never heard of this much gains from LT headers before and I have been around hotrods all my life.

As for headers, I don't believe that there is that much of difference of power gains between majority of LT headers. Until some one does independent test of all brand of headers with same car and dyno it with each brand, there is noway of knowing what brand yields most hp, imo.
