Default "RANDOM MISS FIRE" CODE WITH TAYLOR HEADER WIRES???

Hello!!

What can be wrong with pre assembled out of the box taylor header wires ? Engine (2004 LS6) starts and runs fine but ecm sends "random miss fire " code . With stock wires no code !!

Can you recomend me good header wire set because stock ones are too tight fit.

MSD wires work great with headers. You can angle the boot anyway you like. About $60.00 per set.

I second the MSD wires, and they don't come apart as easy when removing them like Taylors do. Although, I never had a problem with Taylor and still run them on everything else. Just got sick of everytime I took them off the C5, the boots on atleast one would tear off, or the connector inside would tear off.

I had MSD's and went back to stock where I could due to loose connections. I still retain about 4 of the MSD's due to headers and am still getting misfire codes occasionally at constant 2800+/-rpm cruising. I don't know if it's the wires though. BTW, when I did have plug wire issues the car would idle like it was only on 4 cyl's. FYI, I'm pushing over 600rwhp for over 7000 miles now with the stockers.
