Default another CLB question please

hi i have a 98 mn6 that has had the recall done 3 months ago & tow days ago my wheel locked up & cad died shook wheel to right & it unlocked but my question is will the CLB still work if i had the gm recall done ???? thanks for your help sam

Yes, it would have.. The issue here is that it's the actual locking assembly / motor that goes bad. GM's "fix" does not address this; it's only CYA for them.

Go ahead and do the CLB mod, and don't look back. Most of us here w/ M6's just ignored the recall, since it doesn't do jack for our cars.

i have read here on the forum that if you had the GM recall for the mn6 the CLB will not work ? is that true? I hope not my CLB is on the way does anybody know for sure thanks
