Default Thunder Racing cam question?

I have a 2001 z06 with 24k on it.
I am purchasing this cam from a friend...
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA 1700
What will I need with this camshaft?
Will stock pushrods be alright?
Will I need to purchase anything else for the install?
This car will be strictly a weekend cruiser and probably not many miles will be put on the car.
The car will be tuned with ls1edit.
Do you think I will be satisfied with the performance and sound?
Any help/input would be appreciated.

Here is the graph of a 99 ls1 Trans Am with basic bolt ons...

Maybe this will help get some more ifo flowing. Ive been thinking about a similar cam from Comp but with a 115LSA.

What will I need with this camshaft?
New springs.
New retainers.
Will stock pushrods be alright?
Wouldnt hurt to get new pushrods. You can go with some hardened PRs
Will I need to purchase anything else for the install?
Various gaskets and seals
Fluids
Maybe new double roller timing chain but since you only have 24k, maybe not
Do you think I will be satisfied with the performance and sound?

Yeah.

I put that same cam in a 98 Camaro and I had to use .050 longer push rods because the base circle of the cam is .050 smaller. If I remember right. Give Thunder a call and they will tell you for sure. Jimmy

Yea, I just called them and of course...they "recommend" new push rods, but they did tell me they are the stock length.

I had a similiar cam installed back in 01 which yielded me approx. 30rwhp. They changed the retainers to Titanium, springs to Ikenderian 235D and the stock push rods to hardened 7.4" rods.
