my 98's tp sensors batt. are dead, i used a knife starting on the rt side of the sensor and scraped away the grey material, now i'm looking at a $5 watch battery w/ a small lead glued to it, anyone successfully replace the battery? i'm aware of nericreations and the exchange program, if you're running a cam w/<.600 lift don't reply

The leads going to the batteries are either spot welded (battery end) or soldered (circuit board end). Not glued. Unless you just want to go through the process, Nericreations does them fairly cheaply and offers 48hr turnaround time. HTH
I've replaced all 4. I posted in the link above. I used a dremel with wire brush to dig into the parts. Much faster and cleaner ! Be sure to wear respirator if you do it this way.
