Need starter wiring help
Hi guys,
I wanted to confirm that there are two leads that go to the starter for +12v: one straight from the fuse block post, and one from the alternator. Both are not fused in any way.
Right?

Most GM have 1 wire from the battery,, this is the main starting power source and is the battery cable type wire. The other around 18 gauge (small wire) is to the starter relay mounted on the starter and it comes from the ignition switch. This wire has a fusable link in the wire you usually won't see unless you look for it.
