Default Pasenger window

I can't believe I can't find anything in the archives on this, but my passenger side window has p*ssed me off beyond belief. It just will not roll down. I can heart the relay click when I press the switch (either on the drivers door or passenger's door). So today I tore the passenger side door panel apart and gotthe regulator unmounted. The motor was extremely hot. So I guess the motor is probably shot. How do I get the whole regulator assembly out?? Who the hell came up with a pulley and cable system in these cars. They should be SHOT!!! But is there any directions on getting these motors out of the door? Where can I get a new one? And how much has anyone paid for a new regulator/motor?

Thanks for any help.

Derrick

Open the door, operate the switch and slam the door at the same time. It will give the brushes in the motor a little shake and will probably start working again. Thats what I did and it works so far.

EDIT: nevermind, youve already torn it all apart.

I've done the slamming the door thing many times in the past, but it's just not working any more. Actually, it never really worked. The window has probably worked about 60% of the time since I got the car 10 months ago.

mnotx,
Please send me the illustrated directions. The directions you sent help A LOT, but I can always use pictures.. My e-mail address is :
