Default Need help!

I just installed a new pioneer cd player in my '97 coupe. After I finished, I started the car and my red airbag light would not go off, and after getting caught in the rain, I found out my wipers no longer work. What did I screw up and how do I fix it? I was thinking maybe a fuse but they all look good. Are there any fuses other than the box under the hood? I really need to fix the wipers since this is my daily driver and it rainly all the time in Hawaii.

There should be another fuse box under the floor on the passenger side. I think its called a kick plate. It just pulls out and dispalys the fuse box.

What did you hook the CD Player up to?? Did you cut or tap into any wires to install it??

Here are a few pictures of the fuse boxes if you need locations.

Passengers foot well Instrument Panel Fuse Center.

The wiper fuse is in the Instrument Panel Fuse Center and it is Fuse# 10

The air bag fuses are # 16 & 19

The ground for the module is chassis Ground G-104. If you have never cleaned that ground, it is subject to corrosion and that should be the first thing to check after the fuses!!!

Here is a picture of it::

Unless you tapped into something that you were not suppose to or pinched some wires, it might be just a coinsidence.

Have you ever cleaned out the three rubber drain udders for the winshield cowl drain?? That can cause the wipers to fail! Ask me how I know??

If you have never cleaned all of the grounds, I strongly recommend it!!!

Please let me know how you make out!!

Actually yeah, I did tap into a wire. For some reason the accessory power wire the old cd player was using would not work. I got out my circuit tester light and started poking around. I was frustrated at the time, and hungry so I tapped the first wire that seemed to fit the bill. It happened to be the wire for the shifter solenoid that prevents shifting out of park w/o using the brakes. I had read about this before and wasn't thinking. So after I get everything installed, I turn on the car and everything is working good. Then I hit the brake to shift into drive, and along with the solenoid, my radio goes dead. ARGG, idiot of the week award for me. That is when I noticed these problems. I have since found the correct wire and removed the tap into the solenoid wire. Now the radio is working fine, but the airbag light stays on and the wipers dont work. I'll have to check the fuses in the passenger floor board tomorrow. Im hoping that is the only problem.

I checked the fuse panel in the passenger footwell and there is no cover on it. Can Anyone take a picture of the fuse diagram so I know which fuse is which?
