Default Idle Question (i'm a worry-wart)

OK, Car has 70K and plugs/wires I assume are original, do these cars generally idle a bit rough or do I most likely need to do a tune-up? I know my old LT1 car idled a bit rough but wasn't sure w/ the LS1..Thanks

It wouldn't hurt to give it a tune-up. My 97 has 50k on it and I put plugs and wires on it a week ago. Mine will idle a little rough even after the tune-up. It must be somehwat normal.

An "unfortunate" by-product of the camshaft. You'll never get it smooth, so don't sweat it.

However, at 70K I would swap out the plugs for sure, and probably the wires as well.

I can't absolutely remember how mine idled before my new cam, but, I don't think it idled rough enough for me to worry about it. You probably should check the plug wires, air filter, etc.
