Default Air intake/Check engine light....need help

I installed a vortex rammer air system on my 00 coupe today. Now, for some reason, I have a check engine light. I pulled the codes and got 2. P0113 and P1111. P0113 is air intake temp circuit high and P1111 is air intake circuit intermintent high. Is this being caused because the system needs to relearn because of the new intake system? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

No, you shouldn't get any codes after a proper installation. I suspect that there is a forgotten connection or air leak because of a tube connection that is either loose or pinched. Go back and check every connection, both electrical and mechanical and I'm sure you'll find the source of the problem.
Good luck.

i've checked all the electrical connections and have found nothing. I mean, there were only two electrical connections. I will say that there is that 3/4 inch air tube and in the vortex kit they give you a little black mini filter or something and that does have an open part, but there is nothing I can do to fix that. Any other ideas???

Quick guess is that the IAT sensor is not connected and laying or bouncing around on your hot engine.

yep.....

at this point if I were you I would reset the codes and then go back and take it all apart and reassemble making sure everything is correct and tight....it is most likely something stupid/simple...

...and then if you still can't find anything wrong, give BPP a call. I've spoken to the main guy there and he was helpful in answering my questions.

still can't figure it out. The sensor is connected and so is the MAF sensor. The only thing just laying there is the little black filter you plug the 3/4 inch air tube into that you mount somewhere onto the radiator shroud. But that should have no effect whatsoever because me mounting that won't change anything. I also checked the MAF sensor connection with the intake piping and also made sure the intake piping was correctly fitted onto the throttle body. But the light still remains on.

No codes is not completely true (the above codes shouldn't happen though), I was getting a check engine light after my Halltech Stinger install while drag racing. The engine was leaning out at the top end, a quick stop at the Vette Doctors for a tune solved the problem (and gave me more horsepower!)
