is the varam velocity stack any good? should i spend my money on this?
well the theory goes that at sub sonic speeds to increase air pressure you need to lower the speed of the air intake, a widening of the intake passage would therefore be needed.
If however you are at super sonic speeds then a norrowing, or increase in intake velocity would yeild an increase in pressure.
A smoother intake track should yeild a better response but by how much? I'd spend the money on a new TB instead.

All I know is that was my first mod I made along with the larger "carbon fiber" air bridge that I installed at the same time and it made a noticeable difference. The intake sound was louder and deeper and the rear wheels would break loose a lot quicker that before. Not sure what kind of HP gains but with these two mods only I could feel the difference. And I dont think the air bridge could give me that kind of power. I would do it again.
