If your not road racing, I don't know why you'd want to. But that being said, one quick push of the AH/TC button on your console will turn it all off. Push and hold for at least 5 secs gets Comp Mode (AH on, TC off). There is no way I know of to keep TC on and AH off.
What year car do you have?? There is a Traction Control button on the console behind the shifter and next to the E brake handle. If you push it, you will turn the system OFF. That lets you do some WILD and CRAZY stuff. For normal street driving, i keep mine in COMP Mode. If your car is equipped, PERSS AND HOLD the TC button and watch the DIC. It will display COMPENTITION MODE when it is activated. If you press reset, the car will still be in Comp mode but the display will go out.
COMP Mode will allow you to smoke the tires but help keep the rear of the car from swapping ends with the front of the car!!
Unless your on a road course and need to drift the car around a corner or want to do douuts in the parking lot, I personaly would not be in OFF!
There is no way that I know of to permentaly shut it off.
