Fast called me and said they would send me a new intake but would charge my credit card for one and if they determined it was bad then they would refund my money, if not I would be charged for the new intake also. Put yourself in my shoes, if they say they don't know anything about warped intakes what makes you think that they are going to admit to a defective one I send them???????????????

JAY FROM FAST, READ THIS AND PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES!!!!!!!!!!
FAST, I AM NOT letting this die.

Fultilt,
One last thing to check. If you remove the FAST again, take it ( the FAST) apart and make sure the shells and internal gaskets are good and sealing. Maybe you will find the trouble there.
By how this sounds, you should be able to SEE the warp, I mean 15lbs of tightening is a LOT on plastic/rubber. When it's off, pull the o-ring gaskets off and lay each side on a flat surface and see how that looks. I am amazed that you are having these issues and I have seen no trouble. I am sorry for you! It $uck$ to be chasing things like this. (good numbers by the way!). Don't give up yet! Pull it off and check the things I have listed (if you can) and report back.
Good luck man! Hopefully some good news will come out of this...

You won't make any power with an Ls2. There is plenty of testing that has shown this.

Some folks have had issues with warped FAST intakes. FAST has replaced them AFAIK.

We installed our FAST with re-used gaskets and had no leaks, but installing new gaskets isn't a bad idea. The intake gaskets are designed to be re-usable. Ours has been off and on several times...

The master seal which goes around the whole intake top is NOT re-usable. So, if you took the intake apart, you really need a new gasket for it.

The moving the MAP sensor idea isn't a bad idea either...

Ok guys, I called Futral Motorsports who I purchased the majority of my h/c parts from. Alan who owns the place suggested grinding off the locator tabs from the bottom of the intake. I called Livernois and suggested this, so they did this and added rtv sealant, let it sit overnight and the leak was FINALLY gone. What started out as a tune turned into over $1000.00 bill!!!!!!! Anyway, the car put down 455/421 and it does scream. Thanks to Alan from Futral for your time.

Great ending to a troubling story.
