[FONT=Arial Black] When I crank down on my Z06 and put the pedal down this warning comes on and the engine slows down to a crawl forcing me to pull over, stop, put on the flashers, turn off the car and pull out the key......wait for all the DIC messages to go off....then restart the Z and take off again but sloooower. This also happens when I travel over rough roads (not by choice) So far the "authorized dealer" shop has replaced my pedal assembly thingy for $400.00 assuring me that they have fix the problem but of course that is not the case. If I drive like an old lady the car is okay, if I drive a little more aggressively lights flash and the car shuts down "Service Active Handling-Reduced Engine power" messages come up and I go nuts.....Can anyone help me help my friendly technician?

Reason: "Arial Black" is in front of my message..
Wow wierd? Umm I am searching here but I hope it helps... you might want to check out your MAF, TB, air bridge, and filter and see if anything is way loose letting a ton of cold air past... I would pull some codes and get your pointed on the right direction. Ask me how I know about not tightening one of these up and getting some major codes.. :o been there but man was I happy when I founf the loose *** clamp on the output side of the MAF. Hope this helps and TTT. Good luck and leep us posted
Dave
same thing happened to me. Problem was my aircoupler was loose and was leaking. Disconnect the battery, take the airbridge apart and put it back together. Reconnect the batter and try that out.
Yep, same ones that were there before; P0410 HC, Air System and all the rest are History codes; 1125,1126,1281,1285,1286. So I think I will do like dragon84 suggested and see what happens. Thanks again.

Ok first off no offence to Dragon 84 but disconnecting your battery will do nothing for you but cause you to lose the time on your clock, checking your air coupler and all conections is a good thing.
I didn't find anything in the service manual on code 1126 but P1125, P1281, P1285 and P1286 all are accelerator pedal postion sensor fail codes, if someone has already replaced your accelerator pedal then you need to take it back to them and say that they didn't fix it and that they need to fix it plus give you a credit/refund of your previous bill
No offense taken, i was just covering how my power reduction problem was fixed. The battery thing was my mechanics suggestion because it resets some sort of air ratio so you don't through codes when I installed the vararam and air bridge. I didn't have any problem with the pedal though.
Okay sounds like a plan. I'll call the dealer and bitch about not removing those history codes for the pedal.....just to see if I can get them to re-look at their recent service and check those couplings.
Yes I know how to do that (remove the codes) but I want to have something to show the dealer when I hit him up for some free work. When I bought the Z it came with a Breathless air package so perhaps there is a problem/air leak around that setup? Not being much of a mechanic and not knowing what to look for I'm at the mercy of the tech guys/gals....

I had the same thing happen to me, its was the TAC modgle ($300.00) its located inside the fender well on the passenger side. Just what happened to me. Hope this helps. From what I understand, the TAC can be tested....
Well, so far I have spent another 3K and the "Service active handling" still pops up when I put my foot into it...reduced engine power, pull over, flashers, turn off car..restart and take off again, time to trade in on a good car...I wonder if they still sell Edsels? undefined

I would go back and get my $3000 back and threaten to take them to small claims court if they refuse, and then find another dealer to work on your car. It's obvious they don't know what they are doing.

Holy Shiznitt! $3000! They shouldn't have charged you for the first $400! Isn't the work guaranteed?
From what you provided you have:
P0410: Secondary AIR Injection system: The solenoid is right by the TAC module. Did your battery ever get replaced? Sometimes they leak. I'm wondering if it spilled acid on the PCM/TAC and AIR solenoid and corroded that stuff.
