Default AC Acting up

My AC is acting up. It started yesterday. I noticed that the driver's side is throwing semi warm air (that’s the best way I can describe it), even though I set the temp down to 60 degrees. It does this while driving. When stopped and idling, I notice the air gets colder. Even more strange though, is that the passenger side does not have this problem ast all. The air coming out of that side is cold.

Today, I got some codes. They are:

10PCM
P0157 H C
P0300

Could the condition these codes represent be causing the AC to be acting up only on the driver’s side?

I don’t know if this is could be related to this but my turn signals have been acting up too, since yesterday. Sometimes they work and at times they don’t. Yesterday and today, on the freeway, they stopped working, then suddenly, a few minutes later, while still on the freeway they started working again.

Any thoughts or ideas as to what could be going on?

Thanks for your help.

Check and see if you have a code in 99-HVAC B0441 H

This means the Left Actuator is out of range

I had the same problem. I found a thread that said if you have any 99-HVAC codes to clear them even if they are listed as history (that's what the H stands for) and it would fix the problem. I had code B0441 H and B0337 H I cleared them both and my problem was solved. When you clear B0441 H listen for the actuators resetting and wait until you don't hear them anymore then clear the others.......

I started my car turned on the AC and all vents blew cold air! I live in Texas so you can see I'm over joyed that it fixed my warm air (driver), cold air (passenger) issue!!!!

Good luck!!!

Take it to the shop and see if it has a leak. Mine did and once fixed and refilled, it worked just fine.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. I didn't see anything about the year of your car, but if it's a pre-2001, you should probably pull the battery and make sure it isn't leaking. There is a vacuum hose right under it (along with your PCM and wiring harness!!!) Very common problem, which can become expensive if it's not caught in time.

I have this same problem on my 2000. Two quick questions:
1. How do you pull the codes you talked about in your answer?
2. How do you clear the codes once you pull them?

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Good luck!!!

With ignition on, press and hold the OPTIONS button, then press the FUEL button 4 times in a row. It will cycle through all the modules and give you any error codes. Write them down if you need them.

At the end, it will go into Manual Diagnostics. At that point, press Option button to go from module to module. When you get to an error code, press and hold the Reset button until it is cleared and displays No Code.

When done, either turn off ignition, or press E/M to exit.

The P0300 code indicates that you are having MISFIRE Problems! When was the last time that you looked at your ignition system? You could have a loose wire, a bad wire, a damaged wire or plug or a leaking coil.

Recommend that you remove and inspect each sparkplug wire. Measure each wire from end to end with an ohm meter. They should read 250-750 ohms and the boots and wire insulation should be clean and free of nicks, tears and burns,

When you remove the boots from the plugs and coil towers, twist them first to break them loose and only pull from the boots! NOT THE WIRES!

When you reinstall them, apply some silicone dielectric grease on the boot ends.

How many miles do you have on the current set of plugs?

Are you getting any hesitation or engine misfires when you do any hard accerelation runs?? If so, that could be what the problem is.
