2 Questions on Front Caliper...
Two quick questions for the experts. I need one of the bolts that holds the caliper in place... please see the picture. My questions are....
1. Can I buy just this bolt, or is GM goning to force me to buy some $100+ caliper kit just to get the bolt?
2. What is the proper torque for these bolts?

You can buy the bolt seperate. Its 22 or 23 ft-lbs. I just ususally reuse the bolt with a little loctite if you like.
I was hearing noise and grinding, checked things out, and the bolt was gone, the caliper loose and rubbing on my wheel. The bottom bolt was also loose, but still there.
I changed brake pads over a year ago, and I guess not properly torqued.
