Default Need help with careful modding

My current engine mods are Blackwing intake and Borla 4 tip exhaust. My car is very quiet and doesn't smell like gas much. I'd love for it to stay pretty close to this. I'm looking to switch exhausts to one that looks a little less crazy. I want a 4 tip that isn't very loud. Also I still have 2 stock cats under the car and I think those are holding me back a lot. What can I do about replacing those cats so I don't smell gas coming up to lights and I gain some good hp? Also what is another quiet 4 tip exhaust that is very good looking?

How much rwhp can I expect to be making with whatever suggestion you give?

Thank you in advance.

In your case I would go with LG or Dynatech Long Tube headers with High Flow Cats and Z06 Ti mufflers. You would pick up atleast 30rwhp and would love the combo. It will be quiet at idle and cruising but will sound awesome at WOT

I'm not ready to replace the headers yet. Are there any high flow cats I can get to replace my stock ones? They need to really work like stock though and not make the car smell like gas. I think my stock cats are near clogged.

Any other good looking exhausts that aren't too loud? I don't think I want the stock zo6 exhaust even though I hear it's one of the quietest yet free flowing catbacks out there.

Thanks for your input! Anyone else?

I have a B&B (Rt. 66) 4 tip oval which is pretty quiet.... a lot less than the Borla. Would you be interested in a trade?

You can take a look at just about any Vette catalog and if they carry exhaust's they should sell B&B..... If you go on-line, Mid-America and Eckler's carry them. They have 4 large 4.5" oval slant tips .... sound is just a bit louder than stock, without any resonance. They have three different models now.... the Bullet, PRT and Route 66, (loud to soft). I have the 66.

What type of Borla exhaust do you have?
