What do you mean by blurred? from the inside or the outside? perhaps use a good glass cleaner on the inside and remove some of the haze that can sometimes build up on glass surfaces?
If it just needs a good cleaning, use some Bon-Ami. Don't use any other brand because it will scratch the glass. Bon-Ami will clean the glass good but will not leave scratches. Phil
From my experience, Armor All is what funks up the windshield on the inside. Years ago when I smoked I thought it was from cigarette smoke. I am sure that didn't help, but most of that haze is from Armor All.
Thanks for all your help.I will try the real good cleaning first.I just bought the car and did a deal good job detailing but I just windexed the windows. Its strange its like taking of your glasses and everything is
blurred slightly.Well anyway I am going to go try the cleaner and I will let you all know.
Thanks again
Have the windows been tinted? There is a new CLEAR tinting that is supposed to cut down on UV. My wife had it done to her new car and she doesn't notice anything but I think it looks like you are looking through water.
The blurred windshield is common to a lot of vettes. Use Stoners Invisible Glass and newspaper and it will clean right up. See tips on windshield cleaning at the top of the car care forum.
Don't use windex, it sucks on car windows. Noticed that no matter how many times you clean it, still leaves streaks, even when you use the newspapers, use stoners or some other one of your choice, but dont use house cleaners.
You know that new car smell we all love? Well it is the single biggest (other than smoking) cause of the haze that forms on the inside of windows. All the plastics and fabrics give off fumes (new car smell) that collect on the inside of glass. It goes on for many years too. Any brand name glass cleaner should work just fine.
