Default Computer or Wiring Problem??? 2001 LS1

OK, it all started out with what felt like a TPS problem. From idle or off-idle she would stumble or do nothing at all and suddenly send the tires up in a blaze of smoke. A couple days later she started sputtering and missing badly. Then, for no apparent reason she would straiten up and run like a champ.

I found several articles on the forum about ground wire corrosion which helped quite a bit, thank you to those guys. But she's still acting up and throwing codes. Below are several days worth of codes. After recording these I cleared them.

While checking and cleaning connections I unplugged the main computer as well as the one below the carpet on the passenger floorboard. After reconnecting everything including the batter it wouldn't crank at all. I eventually disconnected the harnesses from the computer under the passenger floorboard and it finally would crank and start. I drove her for a few days but when I parked her yesterday she went back to that computer thing where she won't crank at all.

Idea's?
She's dead right now and I'm getting the itch.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought my 98 coupe had NASTY codes!!!

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. Clean both battery terminals and spray out the connections with brake parts cleaner followed by a good douse of WD-40. Retorque the battery cables on to the battery with a torque wrench to 11 ft/lbs. Turn on the key and read the battery voltage on the dash meter and digitaly on the DIC. Report those voltages. Read the battery with a Volt/ohm meter at the terminals and report that voltage. If it is much less than 11.9 -11.5 the battery could be bad. Turn the key or have some one turn the key and start the engine and watch the Volt/ohm meter that is connected at the battery terminals. It should NOT drop below 11.0 volts wnen you start the car.

After you attempt to start the car, go back and read all of the DTC codes in the DIC and post them.

Bill,
I did just that and even tried a new Ultima battery but to no avail. This morning she was doing the hesitation thing from idle and when I got into the throttle around 60mph, I mean as soon as I tapped it she went into reduced power mode and blew these errors.

Any idea's? Some are repetitive but the seat thing really throws me off here.
Thanks Again!

This may sound real strange but try it!! Disconnect the electrical connection on your MAF and take it for a drive. See if it drives better. You will get a code and the check engine light but ignor it.

After you test that theory, hook everything back up and clear all of the codes.

Report your results.

Well, Bill, I'm trying but now it's back to not turning over at all. One of the computers needs reset and I can't seem to get it done. I disconnected the batter for five minutes, nothing, then an hour, nothing. I reconnected the batter and disconnected the computer under the passenger floor for five minutes and still nothing. I'm getting frustrated wth our electronics here. How is we can we make such a high performance car but can't keep it on the road. I guess maybe that's how we keep the price down. Just really frustrated right now that I finally got a weekend off and can't enjoy it.

Well, thanks much for the help. I'll keep goofing with it.

Take Care!

OK,
Last night it was so bad the tranny began to overheat. Basically, the computer stopped managing the line pressures which I've seen before. So I dropped it in 3rd and babied it home about 55mph. She cooled down and stopped the RPM climbing up and down.

I parked it and this morning when I attempted to start it up, nothing! Lights and guages but wouldn't turn at all. One of the computers is on the blitz again. I tried resetting it a few times (battery disconnect 5-10 minutes) and finally after leaving it disconnected for over an hour she started. However, she only runs in Reduced Power Mode and blew the errors below.
