A/C Tensioner. Top or Bottom?
I need to install a new A/C belt tensioner tomorrow. I've not looked at it from the bottom of the car, but from the top it looks to be very difficult. I couldn't even see it without a mirror.
Anybody got any tips on replacing this thing?

We do them from the bottom but the car is on a lift which makes the job a bit easier. Even so, its a pretty easy job

Thanks guys. I went in from the bottom and it wasn't bad at all. Actually getting the belt back on took more time than replacing the tensioner.
