Default Single Lug Hubs

Can anyone tell me if someone makes a single lug hub (Like the C5R) for the C5. You know, with one nut to hold the wheels on .

I know the wheels will be harder to find and more costly but they look great and are lighter.

We can build these.

There is not a lot of demand, but we would be glad to put together a few kits with wheels if anyone is interested

I don't think they are a great idea for street use

Ferrari, Porsche, Saleen and Koenigsegg think ist's a good idea for the street.

Lou, what would something like this go for?

At that price point, those cars are not daily drivers and need pretty constant maintenance. Yes you can do it, but most want to torque wheels all the time .

I will put together some prices for you guys. What tire/wheel combos would you be interested in? Wheel centers are 100% custom parts, so anything can be made.

The threads on the hub adapters are threaded left and right hand, so they tighten themselves under braking and accelration. Tighten once, and they are good to go.

Make sure you buy a 400 ft/lb torque wrench along with the hubs and wheels.....

Unfortunately, we can only go with Fikse, BBS, Kinesis, and any other manufacturer that is willing to make us a custom center of your choice. The BBS rims I have pictured in my above post are 18x10/18x12.

Any 16/17/18 sizes for sure, 19s I can check on.

Fikse can make us our desired centers, as well as kinesis. HRE I do not know as of yet.

Lugs are torqued to 250

Louis, can you price both Fikse and BBS to give us a general idea. Thanks for looking into this.

The Novitec NF-1's would be my first choice. The Fikse Profil 5s would probably be my first choice if you can’t get the Novitec’s.

Can you just sell the center lug steering knuckle/hub without the wheels?

Also can you get a locking nut that goes over the lug nut like the Enzo or Carerra GT?

Here's a picture of what I am talking about.

This would look better on the street than the red safety spring pictured.

Nothing yet. Some are still getting back to me.

I am not sure about a locking nut, but I can probably integrate that into the design should we decide to do that.

I can however provide a locking pin or clip like we previously used in the Trans Am days.

I should have some hard data and info by Tuesday at the latest!

I missed this- I can do that as well, and give you the needed info for the wheel manufacturer for drive pin spacing and wheel nut taper.

Lou, do you have any pics of these without the wheels on? What's the price for JUST the hub adapters? Do the hub adapters mount on the lugs?
Thanks!
