I am trying to order the C6 Z06 shocks when they come in. I am also thinking about going with a better sway bar. Will I have an ill effects with going with the T1 sway bar or something to that level?
If it's a street car, you'd probably be happier with the Z06 bars. The T1s are overkill for street driving. If you want more than a Z06 bar, the Hotchkis would be a good choice.
Do you autocross or compete in any sanctioned form of racing? If so, check to see what "Oh My God" class the T1 bars may put you in with your sanctioning body or bodies first. You will definitely like the Z06 bars a lot better for the street.

Just curious why the Z06 sway bars would be better on the street? All sway bars do is keep the body from rolling correct?
I'm looking at suspension upgrades as well, and I'm sure that Z06 bars or Hotchkis would be a lot better than my base sway bars. And T1 bars may be overkill, but do they cause a problem?
Suppensions are designed to work as a complete system, not piece meal.
Springs for coolum A
Bars from Coloum B
Shocks from Coloum C
and so forth.
so the 04 ZO6 suppensions set up maybe a good way to go.
Challange with the T1 suppensions:
1. rocks would be softer as a suppension for street use.
2. lowering your car is a BAD idea as the T1 suppension needs almost the whole suppension travel to work properly. Max lowering is 1"
3. again Rocks would be softer.
on the plus side:
dead flat cornering, no body roll.
Yes I run a full t1 suppension. so this is from personal experience.
Good Luck
I was running a 2001 Coupe with the base springs, 04 Z06 shocks and T1 bars. The car was very streetable with no issues. If the bars are adjusted properly there is no noise.

I have the F55 shocks (magnetic ride) and I'm going to go with the Z06 sway bars. Based on what I've read on this and other forums, for me I don't want to ruin the street ride by going to the T1s and I can't see spending an additional $300 for the Hotchkis.

I have T1 BARS. I love them. Zero roll and no noise at all. If you want a great handeling car, go with them and don't look back!

Just an FYI, you could have gotten rid of the bumps steer by using the Baer kit the retails for $200. That would have fixed the problem, did on mine.

let me know thanks.
Easy to install just shim the bushing clamps so the bar is not squeezed. Usually two or three washers top and bottom. Set perload to zero with adjustable end links.
