9 years experience on Gen III engines
Of the 19 Callaway C12's that were built I programmed 12 of them
this is a 200,000.00+ vehicle that maintains complete emission regulations and produces over 450 HP from 5.7 Litre's
At $150.00 for tuning and unlimited dyno time I hope your Tuner
can stay in business in todays market.
Your right, I know He has to charge others more. It takes Major bucks to
buy what you need to tune them Dyno etc. We did mine at 2 am.I think I got by cheap and didn't pay full price
We used Ron and his expertise in 1999. He can only have gotten better, but our 1998 Indy Pace Car dyno'd at 415 hp, with Cold Air, Corsa Pace Car, X-pipe.
I think everyone is referring to the over 400 claim and not Ron. At 355, I believe Ron. I dyno at 338 with 4.10s in the rear. All I have on the car is LG LTs and a VaraRam, and the VaraRam don't mean chit on the dyno and the 4.10s bring the reading down.
No one is doubting the tuner, just the one guy who claims 415 with a CAI, catback and a tune.
355 is possible with bolt ons, but not just CAI and a catback.
I would think so but that would certainly be unethical.
Hey Jason, how ya doin bud? I've heard stories that supposedly dyno numbers have been manipulated by the operator but who knows. I was just curious if it could be done.
Pretty good, pretty good. Aside from two hurricanes directly affecting me, mucho house problems in the N.O. area, an unexpeted death in the family, a 6.5 month pregnant wife, selling my house and finding and closing on another one within a three week period, moving twice because the new house won't be ready until Nov. 2nd, putting a hault to all the projects because of the above mentioned, I'm excellent! How are you?
On the fun side of things, I'm ordering a blower next week, bought the last piece for the stereo install I am doing on the car right now about 10 mins. ago, possibly ordering a lift for the garage!

You're young. That stuff would kill me. We're still recovering from 3 direct hits from hurricanes last summer in Fl. Got most of the repairs done.
I'm working in Danbury, Ct right now and we're having a good time. I've been racing at E-Town and we'll go down and visit the house at Christmas.
We utilize the latest dyno and software from Dynojet
No inputs from the operator are alllowed-- Dynojets
weather station does all the work- Fudging air temp,
air pressure, humidity, density altitude are impossible.
Earlier Winpep software the operator did the inputs an
allowed for some cheating variations!
All vehicles are baselined as they arrive at the shop
Then the tuning begins and the gains!! Guaranteed Increase

Do a dyno run, then get your heat gun and stand next to the weather station, then repeat the dyno. See what happens! There will always be cheaters. Dynos are just tools anyway, and way too many 'tools' place too much value on dyno #'s. JMO.
I have heard good things about your abilities. If I were closer, I would swing by.
