Default few small problems/questions

Hey guys (gals)

First one is occasional backfire on engine start. Normal? Surely my o2s arent bad at 35k. ( I do well to get 15mpg in the city, 27 highway...not too lead footed....)((Z06btw))

Second is a growing rattle around the driver side door switches. Common problem?/fixes? (Im going to pull the pannel off soon and see if i can do anything)

My tranny seems really tight sometimes too, heard this is a common problem though.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Rudy

35k, your due for a set of plugs & it sounds like your clutch is acting up making it hard to shift

What does you clutch fluid look like, take a turkey baster and suck the old fluid out, it will take two or three times over a week to see clean fluid again but I bet you can see the difference in the way it shifts.

Have you ever changed the tranny fluid? if not its time, use Royal Purple Syncro Max- you will feel how much smoother it will be

Thanks for the advice. Ill check the clutch fluid tomorrow. Would that require bleeding?

As far as the tranny, should i mess with the rear end too?
