I found both drain plugs for the tranny,( manual) and rear end, differential). Now where do I fill them!! Got it on jack stands, ( that was fun!), so theres not much room for my fat a#%! 6'7" 250!. I've got 4 quarts red line synthetic ATF, and 2 quarts red line 75-90 synthetic rear end oil. Now if I just knew where to put them! Thanks for any help John
the tranny fill plug is on the passenger side....rear end is on the back .....the tranny is easy as you can use a wrench..rear end you need special tool...its pretty obvious when you get under there.....I hope you have a pump to fill them with otherwise you are gonna make a fkin mess
Well, they are higher up than the drain plugs. Sorry.
Search yahoo for 'c5 transmission fluid change' and click the second link for pics.
Can't find pics of the diff but I think the fill is on the back. It is slightly painful to do single handedly, I remember that. You are going to need a fluid pump, that's for sure.
